Abstract: | Spiral computed tomography (CT) has been shown to have significant advantages over dynamic CT by potentially eliminating interscan and intrascan motion, resulting in true volume datasets. The use of spiral CT in the shoulder would potentially be of benefit to those patients in whom CT is needed to define the extent of injury. This report presents our initial experience with spiral CT in acute shoulder trauma. |
