八年制临床医学专业专门用途英语整合课程改革研究

近年来,八年制临床医学专业专门用途英语（English for specific purposes,ESP）课程教学在国内重点高校和医科院校展开.八年制临床医学专业ESP/EMP（English for medical purposes,以医学为目的的英语）课程遵循应用语言学和ESP的基本理论：课程环理论是课程开发的主要理论工具;课程体系的开发借鉴课程连续体理论;真实性原则和需求分析原则是ESP课程的特征.根据这些理论,结合问卷调查,对中山大学八年制临床医学专业ESP/EMP整合课程体系应用与改革实践进行指导,对目前八年制临床医学专业ESP/EMP整合课程体系的设置和教学做出评估,并尝试从课程目标和课程教学大纲、课程结构体系的教学模式和教学手段以及如何突出人文思想的培养和提高医学生综合素质等方面进行了探索.

The construction of ESP/EMP integrated curriculum for clinical eight-year program

ESP （English for specific purposes）targeted for clinical eight-year program has been carried out in China＇s prestigious universities and medical colleges. We carried out this study to formulate the ESP/EMP integrated curriculum for clinical eight-year program. A questionnaire was designed based on relevant pedagogical theories. With the implications drawn from the survey, we carried out the reform of the design and practice of integrated ESP/EMP course system; meanwhile the status-quo was evaluated, and the objectives of ESP/EMP courses, ESP/EMP syllabus along with the pedagogical modes were explored with the aim to cultivate the liberal spirit and improve the comprehensive qualities. We found that the pedagogy used in ESP/EMP for clinical eight-year program follows the basic principle of ESP. Rational construction of ESP/EMP integrated curriculum for clinical eight-year program can facilitate the fulfillment of the goal of the quality education of medical practitioners.
