The Psychological and Behavioral Factors Affecting HIV/AIDS Patients and Their Psychological Intervention

HIV/AIDS has become a serious infectious disease,threatening public lives and health and endangering social stability.Now- adays,AIDS is an incurable disease, so it is especially important to provide the patients with the psychological support, intervention and treatment. This artical presents opinions as follows：HIV/AIDS is a behavioral disease.Psychological and social factors accelerate the process from HIV to AIDS.Through our psychological intervention in the HIV/AIDS patients,their sense of social responsibility is stimulated,the treatment compliance is improved,and the adverse impact of HIV infection on individuals,family and society is reduced.Also,the intervention can make the patients return to work and try to regain feelings as normal persons.
