Regulating Effects and Molecular Mechanisms of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Tumor Immunity

Tumor,beyond mere accumulation of tumor cells,form a complex ecosystemnamely tumor microenviron-ment. The body's immune system can recognize and kill cells of malignant transformationunder the pressure of body's immune selection,tumor cells can rely on their high mutation characteristics to escape immune surveillance,gradually establish the immunosuppression microenvironment,to resist and suppress the antitumor immune response. A greater understanding of the tumor immune mechanisms can stimulate the development of novel theay. Since traditional Chi-nese medicine(TCM)is easy to obtain and exhibits significant antitumor effects accompanied with less toxic and side effects,it has already become a hotspot for cancer researches. In recent years,a lot of literature reports the effects of Chinese medicine intervention for tumor immune. This article is to overview TCM's antitumor effects about inmunity and to summarize the underlying molecular mechanisms.
