| Abstract: | Chief physician LIAO Zhifeng believes that diabetic gastroparesis (DGP) is originally caused by weakness of the spleen and stomach, and superficially caused by simultaneous occurrence of cold and heat, and dis-orders of Qi activities. Thus the clinical syndrome differentiation should be based on the spleen governing muscles, strengthening stomach and activating spleen, and pungent drugs for dispersion and bitter drugs for purgation are tak-en as the treating method. For syndromes like above, the treating method is extremely effective. |
