Abstract:The trend in histology teaching is gradually reducing face-to-face time and switching from teacher-oriented learning approaches to student-centered ones1-4]. In order to engage students in the learning process, many novel technologies and electronic resources have been used by researchers, including virtual microscopy, lecture videos, and interactive response systems5-7]. Participants in these studies have expressed positive attitudes toward these novel methods, regardless of whether they experienced performance improvement after using them5, 7].
