术前CT对中、晚期胸段食管癌切除可能性的估计

<正> 外科手术切除是食管癌首选治疗方法,肿瘤外侵周围器官是影响手术切除的主要因素。为避免不必要的开胸探查、减少患者痛苦,以及为患者选择合适的治疗方案,我们对30例胸段中晚期食管癌病人术前进行了叮检查。本文报告术前CT对肿瘤外侵程度的判断与术中所见及术后病理情况对比的结果。

Preoperative Assessment of Resectability for Thoracic Esophageal Cardnoma by CT

Objective: To investigate the value of the preoperative computed tomography(CT) in assessing the resectability of the thoracic esophageal cacinoma. Methods: Thirty patients with thoracic esophageal carcinoma infiltration of mediastinal structures were prospectively evaluated by CT and then underwent surgical resection of the tumor(n= 28) or diagnostic thoracotomy (n = 2). The CT finding were compared with the exploratory findings during the operation and postoperative histopathology. Results: It was proved that CT was helpful in assessing the depth and extent if the tumor in vasion to the adjacent structures or organs such as aorta, trachea, bronchus giving a relatively high aecuracy(90% ) in detecting the resectability of esophageal cancer. Conclusion: It suggested that there was definite value to assess the resectability of the thoracic esophageal adu-anced cancer by the preoperative CT.
