| 摘 要： | 报道了1202名健康儿童青少年第二掌骨长度和身高之间的关系。结果发现:第二掌骨的突增高峰女姓为8岁,男性为10岁,比身高突增高峰早3年。第二掌骨长度/身高指数随身高的增加而加大。并认为可根据第二掌骨长度来预测儿童到达成年时的身高。

| Abstract: | This paper reports the relationbetween the length of the second meta-carpal bone and the stature in 1202healthy boys and girls. The spurt peakof the bone is eight years in girls and10 years in boys, girls being two yearsearlier than boys. Spurt peak of thebone is three years earlier than theirspurt peak of stature. The length of thebone and the stature are closely related.Perhaps the length of the second meta-carpal bone may be used to predict adultstature. |
