Sysmex XE-2100检测网织红细胞血红蛋白含量在儿童铁缺乏症中的筛查价值

目的:评价RET-He在筛查儿童铁缺乏症中的价值。方法:Sysmex XE-2100检测376例儿童网织红细胞血红蛋白含量,年龄6个月~6岁,以转铁蛋白饱和度<15%为诊断铁缺乏症的"金标准"。结果:376例儿童中,75例患有铁缺乏症,当RET-He的临界值为29.3 pg时,筛查铁缺乏症的灵敏度、特异度分别为85%、51%,RET-He与SF诊断铁缺乏症的ROC曲线下面积分别为0.743和0.554。结论:RET-He在儿童铁缺乏症的筛查中优于传统的生化指标和血液学指标,且测定简便、快速、价廉,可广泛用于儿童铁缺乏症的筛查。

Screening Healthy Children for Iron Deficiency Using Reticulocyte Hemoglobin Equivalent by Sysmex XE-2100

Objective:To evaluate reticulocyte hemoglobin equivalent(RET-He) for detecting iron deficiency in healthy children.Methods:RET-He was measured by Sysmex XE-2100 in 376 healthy children aged from 6 months to 6 years.The gold standard for iron deficiency is transferrin saturation<15%.Results:Of 376 children enrolled,75 had iron deficiency.Optimal RET-He cutoff for detecting iron deficiency was 29.3 pg(sensitivity was 85% and specificity was 51%).The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of RET-He and SF was 0.743 and 0.554 respectively.Conclusion:RET-He is a more accurate hematological indicator of iron deficiency compared with other biochemical and hematologic indicators,and it is convenient,fast and cheap.RET-He should be the preferred screening tool in the early detection of iron deficiency.
