Abstract: | Natural infection of a red kangaroo (Megaleia rufa) with molluscum contagiosum pox-virus is reported. Large lesions up to 2 cm diameter were present on the back, elbow and lip. Histopathology and electron-microscopy confirmed that the disease was identical to human molluscum contagiosum. |
