Diagnosis and accuracy analysis of cardiac ultrasound in patients with hypertensive left ventricular hypertrophy and left heart failure

Objective To observe and analyze the effect and accuracy of echocardiography in the clinical diagnosis of hypertensive left ventricular hypertrophy with left heart failure.Methods 40 patients with hypertensive left ventricular hypertrophy and left heart failure who were admitted to our hospital from October 2019 to October 2020 were selected as the experimental group,and 40 healthy patients who were admitted during the same period were selected as the control group.Echocardiographic diagnosis was performed in all the included cases,and the diagnostic results of the two groups were summarized and evaluated.Results The left ventricular posterior wall thickness,left indoor diameter,left ventricular end-diastolic diameter and other indexes(corresponding to LVPWD,LADd and LVDd)in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group,while the left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The late diastolic peak flow rate(peak A)of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group,while the early diastolic peak flow rate(peak E)and E/A index values were significantly lower than those of the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Echocardiography is more accurate in patients with hypertensive left ventricular hypertrophy and left heart failure.
