| Abstract: | BackgroundIntravenous iron has been suggested as a safe and effective treatment of anemia complicating inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Low molecular weight (LMW) iron dextran has the ability to administer the patient’s total iron requirement in a single infusion. |
