Abstract: | Forceful extraction of an Elema unipolar endocardial pacing electrode caused accidental detachment of the electrode tip. The tip migrated from the jugular vein into the central venous circulation and after some delay finally passes during the night into a pulmonary artery branch. Transient pleural irritation was the only sequel. |
