Analysis of the current situation of planned immunization in the grass-roots rural areas of ChangtuCounty

Objective To analyze the current situation of planned immunization in the grass-roots rural areas of Changtu County.Methods The grassroots of Changtu County was divided into village level,county level and township level.In accordance with the investigation plan formulated by the county health bureau,the county adopts a simultaneous investigation method,randomly grouped to conduct blind investigations to analyze the distribution of grassroots plan immunization staff,the use of syringes at each vaccination site,the attitudes and measures of superiors towards safe injections,and mastery of vaccination safety knowledge and service attitudes of units at all levels,vaccinators’satisfaction with vaccination services and their understanding of the purpose of vaccination,the source of the syringe and the post-use disposal method of the disposable syringe.Results The survey included a total of 40 vaccination sites,all of which used disposable syringes,accounting for 100.0%;there was no statistically significant difference in service attitude between county-level,township-level,and village-level units(P>0.05);the county-level units had better grasp of vaccination safety knowledge than the village-level and township-level units,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction with vaccination service of county-level units 100.0%and the awareness of vaccination purpose 100.0%were higher than 92.4%and 92.4%of township level units and 86.4%and 88.8%of village-level units,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Among the 40 inoculation sites, 40 syringes were distributedby the superior. All inoculation sites that use disposable syringes, of which 10.8% of township-level hospitalsand 33.3% of village-level inoculation sites have violated standardized treatment after use, and were randomlydiscarded. Conclusion By adopting effective and targeted vaccination policies for rural people at the grass-rootslevel, we can solve various problems of planned immunization in rural areas, prevent the incidence of infectiousdiseases in Changtu County, and protect the health of local residents, which is the work that the health andepidemic prevention departments focus on and implement.
