Experience of integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine intervention in perioperative period of proliferative glucose network laser and cataract

The article elaborated on the cognition and treatment of proliferative diabetic retinopathy(PDR) from the perspectives of modern medicine and ancient Chinese medicine. Professor XU Jia-jun’s thoughts, methods and experience in the treatment of proliferative diabetic retinopathy with integrated Chinese and Western medicine were summarized, and then summarized his unique understanding of the etiology and pathogenesis of Chinese medicine for proliferative diabetic retinopathy through the presentation and analysis of the medical records. He believes that in the treatment of proliferative diabetic retinopathy, the application of Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese medicine treatment to improve the prognosis of patients, combined with professor LYU Ren-he’s theory of ‘miniabdominal mass’, can reduce the patient’s eye symptoms and improve the systemic symptoms.
