Screening analysis of abnormal hemoglobin disease in people of childbearing age in Xinyi district,Guangdong province

Objective To analyze the status of abnormal hemoglobin(Hb)disease in people of childbearing age in Xinyi district,Guangdong province.Methods A total of 13249 married and childbearing patients who were screened by hemoglobin electrophoresis and diagnosed with local poverty gene were retrospectively analyzed,and the screening results of patients were counted.Results A total of 75 patients with abnormal hemoglobin were screened out in this area.The carrying rate of abnormal Hb was 0.566%(75/13249).Among them,there were 12 cases with abnormal Hb genotype asαchain,and 63 cases with abnormal Hb genotype asβchain.Conclusion The carrying rate of abnormal Hb in this region is 0.566%,which is higher than the average level in China.Hb electrophoresis can effectively screen for abnormal hemoglobin disease,which is of great significance to the promotion of healthy birth and healthy birth,and can significantly improve the comprehensive quality of the population in China.Therefore,it has high application and promotion value.
