Study on the synergistic effect of Radix Saposhnikoviae through Taohong Siwu Decoction promoting blood circulation for removing blood stasis on hepatic fibrosis

Objective:To explore the synergistic effect and mechanism of Radix Saposhnikoviae on hepatic fibrosis treated by Taohong Siwu Decoction.Methods:SD rats were randomly divided into normal control group(n=8)and model group(n=42).Hepatic fibrosis models were induced by CCl4 soybean oil solution and randomly divided into pathological model group,colchicine group,Radix Saposhnikoviae Taohong Siwu Decoction group,Taohong Siwu Decoction group and Radix Saposhnikoviae Decoction group.The changes of AST,ALT,ALP,HA,LN,PCⅢand IV-C were detected.The expression of TGF-β1 andα-SMA was detected by Wstern Blot and immunohistochemistry.Results:Compared with group C,ALT,AST,HA,PCⅢ,IV-C in serum and TGF-β1 andα-SMA protein expression in liver tissues of group D rats were significantly decreased(P<0.05).Conclusion:Radix Saposhnikoviae can promot blood circulation and remove blood stasis of Taohong Siwu Decoction,and its mechanism may be related to down-regulating TGF-β1 andα-SMA.
