CtBP2 在食管鳞状细胞癌中的表达及其临床意义*

摘    要:目的:研究羧基末端结合蛋白2(C-terminal binding protein 2,CtBP2)在食管鳞状细胞癌组织中的表达情况及其与食管癌发生发展的关系。方法:Westernblot法检测8 对食管鳞状细胞癌新鲜冰冻组织、免疫组化法检测90例食管鳞状细胞癌石蜡切片组织中CtBP2 表达情况,结合临床病理和随访资料分析CtBP2 表达与患者临床病理参数及总生存率的关系。结果:两法检测结果均显示CtBP2 食管鳞状细胞癌组织中的表达明显高于对应的癌旁组织,且CtBP2 的表达水平与食管癌的组织学分级(P =0.002)、浸润深度(P = 0.032)相关,而与年龄、性别等参数无相关性。Kaplan-Meier 分析结果显示,CtBP2 高表达组患者的总体生存率明显低于CtBP2 低表达组患者。结论:CtBP2 在食管鳞状细胞癌组织中表达显著上调,提示其可能与食管鳞状细胞癌的发生发展相关。

Expression and clinical significance of CtBP 2 in human esophageal squamous cell carcinoma

Abstract:Objective:To explore the expression of C-terminal binding protein 2 (CtBP 2) in human esophageal carcinoma and its relationship with clinicopathological parameters and survival. Methods:The expression levels of CtBP2 in eight cases of fresh frozen specimens of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) and the adjacent esophageal tissues were detected by Western blot. Immuno -histochemistry was used to detect CtBP 2 expression in 90samples of ESCC tissues and adjacent non-tumor tissues. Based on patient in -formation and follow-up data, the correlation of CtBP 2 expression with patients' clinicopathological characteristics and overall survival was further evaluated using Fisher's exact test and Kaplan- Meier method, respectively. Results: Immunohistochemistry and Western blot analysis showed that CtBP 2 expression in tumor tissues was higher than that in adjacent non-tumor tissues. CtBP2 expression was significantly correlated with histologic grade ( P=0.002) and depth (P=0.032). Kaplan-Meier analysis demonstrated that high CtBP 2 ex -pression was correlated with a short survival time. Conclusion:CtBP2 expression was upregulated in ESCC tissues, indicating that it may play a role in the oncogenesis and development of ESCC.
