Abstract:	Aims To study anthracycline-induced apoptosis in leukemic cells isolated from patients with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) in vitro and to compare intracellular anthracycline concentrations causing apoptosis in vitro with those obtained in vivo during anthracycline treatment.
