Discussion on the Treatment of Functional Anorectal Pain from Blood Stasis

Functional anorectal pain is an anorectal disease with anorectal pain,swelling,and obvious bowel-movements feeling as the main clinical manifestations.The disease has the characteristics of long course and easy recurrence.The quality of life of patients with chronic functional anorectal pain is significantly reduced,and they often have problems such as insomnia,depression,and anxiety as well.At present,the therapeutic effect of western medicine alone is not satisfactory.Although TCM has certain efficacy for the treatment of this disease,some patients still have poor therapeutic effects.We propose that“qi stagnation and blood stasis”is the core pathogenesis of this disease,and“treatment from blood stasis”is the core treatment method that runs through all stages of the treatment of this disease,which has achieved good clinical results.
