Über das Moderatorband der linken Herzkammer

Zusammenfassung Über das left moderatorband (Keith 1909) und seine Bedeutung wird an Hand der Literatur und eigener Untersuchungen an vollständig entwickelten Herzen und embryonalen Herzschnittserien der kritischen Altersgruppen (Stadium XV, XVIII, XIX und XX nachStreeter) berichtet.Eine Analogie (Keith 1909,Benninghoff, 1930) dieser Struktur mit dem sogenannten Moderatorband der rechten Herzkammer wird bestätigt und im Sinne einer Homologie erweitert.Auf die theoretische und praktische Bedeutung der Trabecula septomarginalis links als eine dem Moderatorband rechts homologe Struktur hinsichtlich des nach rein embryologischen Gesichtspunkten entwickelten Einteilungsprinzipes der Ventrikelseptumdefekte (Bersch, 1971) wird hingewiesen.

Summary This is a report on the left mdderatorband (Keith, 1909) and on its importance; it is based on the literature and the author's own investigations of completely developed human hearts and serial sections of embryonic hearts of critical agegroups (Streeter's horizons XV, XVIII, XIX, and XX).The analogy (Keith, 1909;Benninghoff, 1930) of this structure with the so-called moderatorband of the right heart chamber is confirmed and elaborated on as regards an interpretation of homology. With regard to the classification scheme of the ventricular septum defects based on a purely embryological point of view (Bersch, 1971), this paper points to the theoretical and practical importance of the left-sided Trabecula septomarginals as a structure homologous to the right moderatorband.
