COX-2和VEGF在宫颈病变中的表达

目的:研究COX-2和VEGF在宫颈病变发生发展中的作用。方法:应用免疫组织化学法检测83例宫颈病变(正常宫颈组织20例、慢性宫颈炎20例、宫颈低度上皮内瘤变18例、宫颈高度上皮内瘤变16例、早期宫颈癌9例)中COX-2和VEGF的表达。结果:宫颈高度上皮内瘤变、宫颈癌组COX-2、VEGF阳性表达率明显高于其他组(P<0.05),且二者表达有相关性(χ2=41.19,P<0.05)。结论:COX-2和VEGF在宫颈高度上皮内瘤变和早期宫颈癌组织中高表达,提示检测COX-2和VGEF对早期诊断宫颈癌有重要意义,选择性COX-2抑制剂为宫颈癌的治疗提供了新靶点。

The expression of cyclooxygenase-2 and vascular endothelial growth factor in cervical lesion

Objective:To investigate the role of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in the occurrence and development of cervical lesion.Methods:The expression of COX-2 and VEGF in 20 specimens of normal cervix, 20 specimens of chronic cervitis, 18 specimens of low grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (LSIL), 16 specimens of high grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (HSIL) and 9 specimens of cervical cancers were tested using immunohistochemical technique.Results:The overall positive expression rate of COX-2 and VEGF in HSIL and early stage cervical cancer were significantly higher than that of normal cervix, chronic cervitis and LSIL (P<0.05), and the expression of COX-2 was closely correlated with that of VEGF (P<0.05).Conclusion:High COX-2 and VEGF expression were detected in HSIL and early stage cervical cancer and that may play an important role in early diagnosis of cervical cancer, suggesting that specific COX-2 inhibitor might become a new target for the therapy of cervical cancinoma.
