信号传导与转录激活因子3和E-钙黏蛋白及波形蛋白在结肠癌组织中的表达及其临床意义

摘    要:目的探讨信号传导与转录激活因子3(STAT3)和E-钙黏蛋白(E—cadherin)及波形蛋白(vimentin)在结肠癌组织中的表达及其临床意义。方法收集70例结肠癌患者结肠癌组织和相应癌旁组织标本.应用免疫组织化学方法检测STAT3、E-cadherin和vimentin的表达,分析其与结肠癌临床病理特征的关系及三者表达之间的相关性。结果STAT3、E-cadherin及vimentin在结肠癌组织中阳性表达分别为52例(74.3%)、23例(32.9%)和55例(78.6%),在癌旁组织阳性表达分别为13例(15.7%)、58例(82.9%)和9例(12.9%),差异均有统计学意义(均P〈0.01)。STAT3、E-cadherin及vimentin的表达均与肿瘤分化程度、浸润深度、淋巴结转移及TNM分期有关(均P〈0.05)。STAT3表达与vimentin表达呈正相关.而与E-cadherin表达呈负相关(均P〈0.01)。结论STAT3、E-cadherin及vimentin与结肠癌关系密切,其表达水平可作为判断结肠癌病程和预后的参考指标之一.

Abstract:Objective To evaluate the clinical significance of STAT3, E-cadherin and vimentin in colon cancer. Methods Samples of colon cancer tissue and adjacent normal tissue were procured from 70 patients with colon cancer. The expressions of STAT3, E-cadherin and vimentin were detected by immunohistochemistry. Associations of clinicopathological characteristics and these three factors were evaluated. Results STAT3, E-cadherin, vimentin were positive in 74.3%, 32.9%, and 78.6% in the colon cancer tissues, respectively, and were 15.7%, 82.9%, and 12.9% in normal colon mucosa tissues, respectively. They were correlated with tumor differentiation, depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis, and TNM staging (P<0.05). There was a positive correlation between STAT3 and vimentin expression (P<0.01). However, STAT3 was negatively correlated with E-cadherin (P<0.01).Conclusions STAT3, E-cadherin and vimentin are closely associated with colon cancer. The expressions of STAT3, E-cadherin and vimentin may serve as prognostic indicators for patients with colon cancer.
