Abstract:Objective To analyze the significance of pre-test quality control in biochemical tests,so as to provide supports for clinical biochemical tests. Methods 40 patients who participated in the study voluntarily and received biochemical tests were allocated to a control group and an experimental group, with 20 in each.Routine blood tests were carried out in the two groups according to the standard of pre-test quality control under the regular clinical standard of biochemical tests. After one week, patients in the experimental group continued to follow the standard of biochemical tests, while the control group followed a specified standard before tests without the pre-test quality control, which entailed pre-test fasting, but the diet is not restricted in the evening, and breakfast should be eaten before morning tests.Red blood cell count in the biochemical tests was taken as an observation index in the study, and the count was compared and analyzed between the two groups. Results The average red blood cell counts taken in the first biochemical test and in the second biochemical test one week later in the experimental group were(3.45±0.42)×10^12/L and(3.57±0.54)×10^12/L respectively, and in the control group were(3.56±0.48)×10^12/L and(4.83±0.69) ×10^12/L respectively. The difference of red blood cell counts taken in the first biochemical test in the two groups were not statistically significant(P〈0.05),but the difference of the counts taken in the second test one week later in the two groups were statistically significant(P〈0.05).In terms of within-group comparison, the difference of the results obtained from the first and second tests in the control group were statistically significant(P〈0.05),while the difference in the experimental group were not statistically significant(P〈0.05). Conclusion Strengthening the pre-test quality control in biochemical tests helps significantly improve the quality and efficiency of the tests, which is of positive significance and worthy of applic
