摘    要:用形态计量、显微光学测定,放射自显影和ESR分析等方法研究揭示,衰老时海马神经元的RNA、核仁体积、衰老色素(LP)和谷氨酸(Glu)递质等发生了明显的改变;海马自由基含量显著高于其他脑区。本文就自由基损害与海马衰老的易感性,神经元损害间的联系及其与老年性记忆减退的关系进行了讨论。

Abstract:The methods employed in the study were morphometer, histochemistry quantification, aut-oradiograph and analysis of Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) spectrograph. The result were as follows: RNA contents, Neucleolar volume and number of neurons in hippocampus decreased while lipofuscin of that increased with aging. Glutamate uptake in hippocampus was reduced during senescence. Free radical content in hippocampus was significantly higher than other brain areas (profrontal cortex and thalamus). A few questions were disscused in the paper, the correlation between free radical damage and hippocampal vulnerability to senility, and the relation of bippocampal aging changes with senile memory deficit.
