阿尔茨海默病嗅觉障碍的研究

摘    要:目的 :研究阿尔茨海默病 (AD)患者嗅觉障碍。方法 :配对的AD患者和正常老年人各 3 0例 ,分别行简易智能状态检查(MMSE)、日常生活活动量表 (ADL)、图片识别试验、气味感知阈值、图片介导的气味识别试验及气味再认记忆试验检查。结果 :AD组的气味感知、气味识别和气味再认记忆功能较正常对照组差 (P <0 0 1) ;相关分析显示 ,AD组患者的嗅觉障碍与MMSE总分密切相关 (P <0 0 5 ) ;结论 :AD患者的嗅觉功能全面受损 ,嗅觉障碍是疾病的早期症状 ,是认知障碍的简单反映

Abstract:Aim:To study the nature of the olfactory dysfunction associated with Alzheimer's disease(AD).Methods:There were 2 groups of subjects:subjects with AD (n=30), and healthy elderly control subjects (n=30),which were mating in age, gender and education.Each subject was evaluated with mini-mental status examination(MMSE),Activities of Daily Living Scale(ADL),picture identification test,detection threshold,picture-based odor identification test and odor recognition memory test. Results:AD group was impaired on odor detetion,odor identification and odor recognition memory compared with the healthy elderly control group (P<0.01).The olfactory dysfunctions were high related to MMSE in AD group (P<0.05). Conclusion:As expected,severe deficits are found for AD patients in each of the 3 olfactory domains. Olfactory dysfunction is an early symptom of AD and may simply reflect the cognitive impairment.
