The rapid development of medical information system promotes the development of pharmaceutical information system. Information pharmacists emerge with demand and play an increasingly important role. The purpose of this paper is to explore the background of the emergence of hospital information pharmacists, to explore the scope of functions of hospital information pharmacists in pharmaceutical care in the information age, and put forward some thoughts on the post setting of information pharmacists.
