Abstract:The most common causes of coronary artery aneurysm are atherosclerosis and Kawasaki disease. The disorder is frequently associated with severe multivessel atherosclerotic disease. If the aneurysm is associated with significant coronary artery disease and is leading recurrent ischemia, surgery should be considered. However, the surgery to be performed is not well established and largely depends on the shape of the aneurysm and the preference of the surgeon. We report a case of coronary artery aneurysm due to poststenotic dilation, located at the bifurcation point of the left anterior descending artery and the circumflex artery treated surgically.
