中枢神经细胞瘤7例临床病理观察

目的：研究中枢神经细胞瘤（ｃｅｎｔｒａｌ ｎｅｕｒｏｃｙｔｏｍａ，ＣＮＣ）的临床病理特征，以提高对此瘤的认识，避免误诊。方法：对７例ＣＮＣ的临床病理特征进行分析，并做免疫组化检测以证实其性质。结果：７例ＣＮＣ均为年青人，肿瘤均位于侧脑室内。组织由密集的小圆形细胞组成，胞浆透明，有核周晕，呈蜂窝状结构，并有无细胞性神经原纤维岛特征。免疫组化Ｓｙｎ和ＮＳＥ阳性，ＧＦＡＰ和ＮＦ有性。结论：ＣＮＣ是分化好

Central neurocytoma:A clinicopathological study of seven cases

Purpose To study the clinicopathological and immunohistochemical characteristics of central neurocytoma(CNC) so as to further realize the tumor and avoid misdiagnosis. Methods A retrospective analysis of seven patients with intraventricular CNC was presented. Results Seven cases occurred as lateral intraventricular lesions in young patients with symptoms of raised intracranial pressure and radiological evidence of an intraventricular lesion. Histologically, all tumors were composed of compacted small uniform round cells, with honycomb nests and cell free islands of neuropil matrix within the tumor. Immunohistochemical study demonstrated strong positivity for synaptophysin and NSE,and negative for GFAP and NF. Conclusions CNC is a well differentiated neuronal tumor that often occurs in the lateral ventricular location.The clinical behavior is considered benign.CNC must be diffrentiated from oligodendroglioma and clear cell ependymoma. Cell free islands of neuropil matrix and Syn positive staining are useful diagnostic evidence of CNC.
