平均血小板体积与精索静脉曲张中炎症病理过程的相关性

目的探讨平均血小板体积(MPV)与精索静脉曲张炎症病理过程的相关性,以研究精索静脉曲张的发病机制。方法选取2013年1月至2019年1月在东莞市妇幼保健院诊治的83例精索静脉曲张患者作为研究对象。将这83例患者设为精索静脉曲张(VC)组。随机挑选健康男性101例设为对照组。比较两组MPV值,以受试者工作曲线(ROC)分析MPV对精索静脉曲张的诊断价值,用Spearman等级相关检验分析MPV在精索静脉曲张中炎症病理过程中的相关性。结果精索静脉曲张组MPV值高于对照组,两组间差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。ROC分析MPV的最佳截断值为9.75 fL。MPV与精索静脉曲张分级以及静脉曲张直径呈正相关。结论 MPV在精索静脉曲张组中的水平高于对照组,并且与曲张静脉的直径以及曲张的分级程度呈正相关趋势,MPV对于精索静脉曲张炎症病理机制的研究具有重要的意义。

The relationship between mean platelet volume and inflammatory pathological process of varicocele

Objective To investigate the correlation between mean platelet volume(MPV) and inflammatory pathological process of varicocele(VC) in order to study the pathogenesis of VC. Methods 83 VC patients treated in our hospital from January 2013 to January 2019 were selected as the VC group. 101 healthy men were randomly selected as the control group. The levels of MPV were measured. The diagnostic value of MPV for VC was analyzed using receiver operating curve(ROC). The correlation between MPV parameters and inflammatory pathological process in VC was analyzed by Spearman correlation test. Results The MPV level in VC group was significantly higher than that in control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05). According to ROC analysis, the optimal cut-off value of MPV was 9.75 fL and it was positively correlated with VC grade and diameter. Conclusions The MPV in the VC group was higher than that in the control group, and is positively correlated with the grade and diameter of VC. MPV is of great significance in the study of pathological mechanism of VC inflammation.
