Abstract: | The historical background and the main clinical features of a specific paraneoplastic dermatosis, acrokeratosis paraneoplastica, are reviewed. Typical features are erythematous scaly lesions on the extremities, ears and bridge of the nose, associated with a malignancy, most frequently in the laryngo-pharyngeal region. |
