Abstract: | The appearance and evolution of intracranial hemorrhage as detected by magnetic resonance (MR) imaging is complex. This article outlines the underlying physiology of hemorrhagic masses in order to explain their complex appearance. The MR appearance of intraparenchymal (benign and neoplastic) and extraparenchymal intracranial hemorrhage is described. |
