| Abstract: | The pharmacokinetic effect of the combined treatment of penicillamine with indomethacin and chloroquine was investigated in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. The mean plasma penicillamine concentration increased by 26% during indomethacin and 34% during chloroquine treatment. This new pharmacokinetic interaction may have important clinical implications. |
