| Abstract: | Interleaved spiral scanning of k-space is an efficient and fast method for imaging dynamic processes. In this article, a cine version of interleaved spiral imaging is presented. The method is shown to overcome the “lightning-flash” artifacts of the conventional triggered (gated) method. Compared with the segmented k-space 2DFT method, it achieves better temporal resolution in a comparable or shorter scan time. Preliminary human studies show that the method is a promising tool for imaging dynamic processes. |
