| Abstract: | Reagents (immobilized anti-alpha-fetoprotein discs) having a porous structure were prepared for enzyme immunoassay of alpha-fetoprotein by radiation polymerization at low temperatures. Discs were attached to sticks for easy handling. The activity (determined by absorbance at 492 nm) of the discs varied with the hydrophilic properties and size of the disc. The discs are sufficiently sensitive and precise for enzyme immunoassay of alpha-fetoprotein. |
