| Abstract: | A Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectrometric method was developed for the rapid, direct measurement of bucillamine. Conventional KBr-spectra and DRIFTS spectra were compared for best determination of active substance in its tablet formulation. Two chemometric approaches, partial least squares (PLS) and principal component regression (PCR+) methods were used in data processing. Similar results were obtained with both chemometric methods. |
