Intradural sequestrated lumbar intervertebral disk prolapse. Report of 2 clinical cases

Two cases of intradurally sequestrated lumbal discuss herniae are reported. Characteristics of the clinical, radiological as well as intraoperative findings are described and compared with the 55 cases presented in the literature. The possible etiology and pathomechanics of this rare type of disc hernia are discussed.
