中药“补”的本质在于调整人体机能

The pharmacological function of the so-called “Tonic Drugs” in Chinese medicine is ,in essence ,the regulation of body mechanism,not the function of supplementing basic tonic substances or basic physiological active substances to the body.This is quite different from the so-called “supplementing tonic substances” and other substances needed by physiology in western medicine.Although some nourishments or phyusiological substances needed by the human body are contained in some Chinese medicine,the main pharmacological function,or its essence,is still the regulation of body mechanism due to their very small content.
