摘    要:基础英语教学结束之后,科技英语应成为高校英语教学的主体,以实现向专业英语学习的衔接和过渡。药学科技英语教学应围绕药学这一特定的科技语域进行,学习和掌握传递药学科技信息这种语码的共同特性和规律,如其词汇使用、句法概念和文体特征等,使英语学习真正实现为所学专业服务的目的。

Abstract:EST (English for Science and Technology) is a connection between College English and ESP ( English for special purpose). Without this connection, ESP cannot be effectively taught and mastered. EST in Pharmacy is the usage of English in general pharmacy, which has the common language features of EST, such as objectivity, accuracy and formality. It, at the same time,has its own lexical and syntactic characteristics. The teaching of EST in Pharmacy should be focused on the use of English in the spread of pharmacy information, such as vocabulary and grammar, translation and writing, and etc. , so as to help students with the study of their professional knowledge.
