| Abstract: | This article explores the impact of a patient's suicide during the therapist's training. It is the author's opinion that this subject has received too little attention, and some possible reasons for this are discussed. The scope of the problem is reviewed, including data from a recent study by the author. Also, some general comments about training program responses are offered. |
