| Abstract: | Summary A case of diffuse pleural mesothelioma with widespread metastases is described. At first the tumour was thought to be a spontaneous mesothelioma. Later, while watching a television programme on asbestos exposure, the patient remembered living near to an asbestos factory for two years during childhood. |
