| Abstract: | This review presents a simple trigger-substrate model of arrhythmogenesis and its application to the generation of reentrant ventricular arrhythmias. We demonstrate its broad applicability to the understanding of arrhythmic phenomena in a wide range of both hereditary and acquired arrhythmic disorders. |
