Prof. Qiu's emphasized the differentiation between deficiency and excess as well as cold and heat for the treatment of blood disorders, with hemostasis as the first step followed by other remedies according to syndrome differentiation. Symptomatic treatment for emergency case and causative treatment for chronic case is the chief academic thinking.
