Abstract: | The treatment of masticatory muscle and temporomandibular joint pain constitutes an important area in dentistry. Current information supports the use of reversible treatments for these disorders. Several recent references are discussed in relation to reversible treatment, the role of occlusion, and appliance therapy for internal derangement. |
