摘    要:现今多重耐药菌的报道层出不穷,一个重要原因就是抗生素的滥用。在临床,感染的症状和体征不能准确说明病因,造成早期诊断的困难,而提高感染患者的生存率和减少抗生素滥用的关键在于准确地早期诊断。血清降钙素原(PCT)是一种能早期提示感染的生物标志物。对感染性疾病的预测,具有良好的特异度和灵敏度。与传统标志物相比,它能区分细菌感染和非细菌感染。总之,血清PCT能提示感染的类型和程度,指导抗生素的启用和终止,减少抗生素不合理应用。因此,血清PCT在感染中的应用有重要价值。

Abstract:The reports of emergence of multidrug resistant bacteria are increasing.One of the major reasons documented for such resistance is blind usage of antibiotics.Clinical signs and symptoms of infection often do not point towards the etiology,so the early diagnosis of infection is difficult.The key for improving survival rates and decreasing drug abuse lies in early and accurate diagnosis.Procalcitonin(PCT) has recently emerged as a powerful biomarker for an early and accurate diagnosis of bacterial infection.Elevated PCT levels have a high sensitivity and specificity for diagnosing infections.Compared with the traditional markers,PCT can tell the bacterial infection from other infections.This biomarker has been studied as an aid to identify patients requiring antimicrobial initiation,stratify infections according to severity and guide therapy durations,and reduce the unreasonable use of antimicrobial therapies.Therefore,serum PCT levels measuring has a great value in the application of infection.
