| Abstract: | Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) is the
most abundant neurotrophic factor in human brain, and has remarkable ability to
repair brain injury. Recent studies show that BNDF plays an important role in
the development of a variety of complications after stroke, and is promising as
a late target for the development of novel stroke treatments, but its mechanism
is not clear. In this paper, the biological characteristics of BDNF, the action
mechanism of complications after stroke, and the latest research progress are
reviewed, so as to provide new ideas for the clinical diagnosis and treatment
of pain and depression after stroke. |
