Research progress in etiology,diagnosis, and treatment of placenta previa

Placenta previa is a common complication in obstetrics, and its etiology is not clear. A large number of studies show that advanced age pregnant women, history of cesarean section, multiple pregnancy, medical assisted reproduction, and history of uterine cavity operation can increase its risk. In recent years, the incidence of placenta previa has continued to rise, and has gradually become the focus of clinicians. Its occurrence is one of the main causes of bleeding in late pregnancy. If it is not handled in time, it can seriously threaten the life safety of mothers and infants. Therefore, clear diagnosis and scientific treatment are of great significance to reduce the occurrence of adverse outcomes of mothers and infants. This paper aims to summarize the new research progress in the etiology, diagnosis, and treatment of placenta previa, so as to provide clinicians with the basis for the diagnosis and treatment of placenta previa, and to reduce the maternal and neonatal mortalities.
