关爱男性生殖健康是促进社会进步的重要因素

目的:探索男性参与生殖健康、计划生育与人口发展、男女平等、妇女生殖健康的关系。方法:对镇村两级计划生育干部开展男性生殖健康知识培训。有组织地开展农村男性健康体格检查。结果:镇村计划生育干部经培训后,关爱男性身体健康的观念有了明显的转变。共体检2918例,查出1872人次患有不同的疾病。结论:本次开展男性生殖健康检查,深受群众欢迎,取得良好的社会效益。在今后的计划生育工作中,应转变干部思维模式,加强计划生育服务站建设,拓宽服务范围,开展男性生殖健康服务,提高生命和生活质量。广泛宣传,服务到人,促使育龄男悝认识到参与生殖健康和计划生育的重大意义。男性参与生殖健康和计划生育是社会进步的标志。

Concern with Male Reproductive Health, Promote Social Development

Objective:To explore the significance of male citizens'involvement and participation in reproduc- tion health,family planning and population development,and its role in establishing equal relationship be- tween men and women and in female citizens' reproductive health.Method:conducting training course con- cerning male reproductive health to people in charge of family planning in both townships and villages;organ- izing and conducting a medical check to some male citizens in the countryside.Result:through the training course,the pertinent awareness is raised;among the 2,918 cases in the medical check,1,872 people suffer diseases of different kinds.Conclusion:The recently finished male reproductive health examination was well received by the public and has produced social benefits.The purpose of this activity is to change people's atti- tude about the issue,reinforce the construction of family planning service centers,broaden the service area, provide male reproductive health service and above all uplift the quality of life and living standard.Publici- zing and raising the awareness of the significance of males' involvement in reproductive health and family planning and mobilizing all the social forces to boost the campaign is a main sign of social development.
