Status of relating problems of PICC information acknowledged and applied in nurses

Objective To identify the attitude and status of nurses in bearing the legal risks for the information of PICC. Methods A total of 54 nurses who performed PICC operations were recruited, and a self - designed questionnaire were used to investigate the attitude and status of nurses in bearing the legal risks for the information of PICC. Results Among the involved nurses,92.59% nurses agreed that ＂ doctor informing, nurses implementing ＂ model was the main model adopted in clinical work ,74.07% believed that intb~mtion and implementation of PICC should be performed by the same person, more than 96.00% a- greed that legal documents for PICC information and subscription should be issued by related department as soon as possible. Conclusion Nurses believe that there have legal risks with current work model, and agree that lega｜ documents for PICC information and subscription should be issued by health administration department as soon as possible.
