| Abstract: | Objective To explore the pathological and clinical features of sinonasal adenoid cystic carcinoma,as well as its treatment.Methods A retrospective analysis of 34 cases of sinonasal adenoid cystic carcinoma in our hospital from December 2000 to December 2015 was completed.All the patients were confirmed by histopathology,and the most common symptoms were pain,nasal congestion and epistaxis.10 cases were treated with surgery,23 cases were treated with surgery plus radiotherapy,and 1 case was treated with radiotherapy.Results Thirty patients were followed up,the survival rates of 5 years were 73.3%(22/30),the 5 year recurrence rate were 23.3%(7/30),respectively.Conclusion Sinonasal adenoid cystic carcinoma is associated with high degree of malignancy,easy recurrence and poor prognosis.Early diagnosis and reasonable treatment can increase the survival rate of the disease. |
